I know why you are here
It ‘s either because you didn ‘t find what you were looking for in your admin panel or you wanted to ask me a question.
Ok, here ‘s the deal: wordpress.org and wordpress.com isn ‘t the same thing.
The .org one is the platform, the application. It ‘s exactly like any little program you install on your machine, with the only difference that it runs online, somewhere on a server (I ‘m not going to explain here what a server is). You download it, install it, then start posting, changing options, themes, installing plugins yada yada ¦ about anything you can think of.
The .com one is basically the same thing, just that it isn ‘t the same thing
. It ‘s already installed, you just need to signup and you ‘re setup and ready to go. Now ¦ the big problem here is you don ‘t have to pay for hosting or to struggle installing anything anywhere, you just get to your admin panel and start playing there ¦ I know, this doesn ‘t sound like a problem at all. Yes it does. At some point, you might need something that wordpress.com doesn ‘t offer, or even worse, you might find out your blog got deleted for some reason.
So, my advice is to go the hard way, your own domain way.
